This program will offer a Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification that helps keep community professionals prepared and ready to respond as they encounter life-threatening emergencies. You will learn how to provide CPR, respond to choking & airway emergencies and provide basic first aid. You will receive a certification that is valid for 2 years through the Red Cross. *REQUIRED online prework will be sent out 1 week prior to the start of the course. The prework will take 2  hours and after you finish, you must print out and present the completion certificate at the in person course.

During this Shallow Water Red Cross Lifeguard certification course, you will learn the following skills: Basic Life Support, Basic First Aid, and how to utilize an AED in a time of need. You will also learn how to recognize and respond to emergencies in the pool and around the deck. This course presents a knowledge base for the skills and knowledge lifeguards need in pool, lake, river, surf and water park environments. Upon completion, you will receive a Shallow Water Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
